From a Nine-Year-Old’s Spark to a Collaborative Cinematic Vision

Steven received his first camera at the age of nine, sparking a lifelong fascination with visual storytelling. By grades 7 and 8, he had already created his first films, experimenting with narrative, framing, and editing.

That early spark has never faded — today, he shares that passion with a team of like-minded, enthusiastic filmmakers, bringing ambitious projects to life, yet at its core it remains the same curiosity and wonder of that young boy behind the lens, discovering the magic of cinema for the first time.

Steven has collaborated closely with Jörgen van Dongen as a dynamic creative duo. 

Over nearly two decades, this creative synergy has not only shaped memorable films but has also established a signature style recognizable across both commercial campaigns and artistic projects.
